INSURANCE BILLING/CERTIFIED CODER
Responds to insurance payments, denials, and inquiries pursuant to established procedures and within established time parameters and processes refunds. Ensure the billing requirements for coding and supporting documentation are met pursuant to established procedure; obtains missing information relevant to all claims. Initiates follow-up telephone calls and/or correspondence pursuant to unpaid insurance claims or balances within established time parameters. Coding outpatient ASC facility charges from operative reports. Answering coding questions from physicians and clinical staff. Verify and create patients and insurance coverages.
CSRs
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting patients with inquiries via telephone and scheduling patient appointments via a computer following written protocols. Collects, verifies, updates, and ensures the accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to greet the public in a professional and personal manner.
